All children are to be at school by 9:00 a.m. If your child is not attending school or will be late you must call the school to inform us so we have an accurate lunch count for the day. If your child comes in after 9:00 a.m. and disrupts the morning program we will have you take your child home. You will be advised to come earlier the next day where the teacher can give proper attention before the program begins.
In order for your child to adapt quickly to the program, we ask that you bring your child to the Center and pick him/her up at a regular time each day. You must walk your child to their class instead of just leaving him/her at the door and let a staff member know that your child has arrived. This will also help your child feel more comfortable.

There is a Sign-In/Out process that you must complete upon your child’s arrival and departure. This is a State requirement and we could be cited if you do not follow the procedure. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in dismissal from The Little Mud Puddles Learning Center.
If you arranged for your child to be picked up by someone else other than yourself the Center must have a written note signed and dated by either parent approving this person. The individual picking up your child must show a photo-identification (such as a driver’s license). If you fail to provide the Center with written permission, the individual will not be allowed to leave the Center premises with your child.
If you are not able to pick up your child at the regular time, please call to let us know so that we can assure your child you will be arriving within a certain period of time. If you arrive at the Center later than 6:00 p.m., a charge of $20 per fifteen minutes will accumulate until your arrival and must be paid directly to the staff member(s) caring for your child. This late pick-up fee must be paid when picking up your child or on the following day.
Please call if your child is going to be absent. Not informing the Center of your child’s absence for three consecutive days could constitute grounds for dismissal from the Center.

Safety

When you are arriving and leaving the Center please drive cautiously through the parking lot. Do not leave children unattended in cars. Make sure your child is in a car seat at all times while traveling in the car. Always arrive and leave the Center holding your child’s hand. Please limit your cell phone usage when in the parking lot. Please do not park along the red curb.

The Little Mud Puddle’s has installed a security system to improve the safety of our children. Entering and leaving the school will require the use of a Key Fob to unlock the entry door. This security system will prevent unauthorized entry into the school. Please use the Fob only for you and your child’s entry and do not hold the door open for someone else to enter. Please do not leave by pushing the exit or panic bar because you will set an alarm. The exit or panic bar is for emergency exit only. Each family will receive two Key Fobs. Any additional Fobs will be $15.00 extra. Please report missing Key Fobs immediately.
